Rachel Reichert

Associate Counsellor

Rachel (she/her) is an Associate Counsellor registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers with restricted psychosocial intervention authorization and is working towards the goal of provisional registration as a psychologist. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Diploma in Social Work, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Rachel has over seven years of experience as a Registered Social Worker in Alberta, and has supported many individuals in navigating the complexities of neurodiversity; various mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, and personality disorders; substance use concerns; intimate partner violence; life skills and self-esteem development; and trauma.


Rachel offers individual counselling for youth and adults aged 18 and up. Rachel’s clinical approach is largely holistic and relational, grounded in evidence-based practices and strongly informed by strengths-based, person-centred, and harm-reduction principles and perspectives. Rachel draws from many therapeutic modalities in her work and tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs and circumstances. Rachel aims to create a therapeutic environment that is safe, respectful, and collaborative, where clients feel heard and supported as they work toward their goals. Rachel also offers formal assessments for individuals aged 18 and up.


Rachel is dedicated to ongoing professional development and expanding her clinical skills to best support the needs of her clients. Rachel is 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent affirming. She is located on Treaty 7 territory in Mohkinstsis (so-called Calgary) and is accepting new clients for online services within the Treaty 6, 7, and 8 regions known as Alberta.
