Liana Tempany
Associate Counsellor
Liana (she/her) is an associate counsellor at Cultivate. She is also a registered speech language pathologist in Alberta with significant experience working with neurodivergent populations across the lifespan in a variety of health and education settings in multiple provinces. She has supported vulnerable youth and adults engaged with law enforcement. Liana has experience navigating grief and loss, divorce, conflict, crises and trauma, relationship and communication issues, coparenting, significant illness such as cancer and progressive diseases, mood disorders, career change, and learning differences. Liana is committed to honouring and accommodating for communication, learning, and sensory differences to promote safety, empowerment, and inclusion during your counselling experience.
Liana is passionate about using a trauma-informed, respectful, accepting, and person-centered approach that is uniquely tailored to your life experience, needs, strengths, and goals. The journey will involve collaboratively exploring what brings you to counselling, and then supporting you as we identify where you would like to go. She is honoured to have the opportunity to connect and walk alongside you in the work.
