Jessy Roos

Jessy (she/her) is the Executive Director of Cultivate and works largely behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. Her background in administration led her to join Cultivate in 2016, and she's been around ever since. Jessy's focus is on supporting the team, administrative functions, creating partnerships in the community, and telling Cultivate's story through channels such as the website, social media, and traditional news media.

Jessy leads a hectic but fulfilling live, spending her time outside of work with her four wild and wonderful kids, and enjoying hobbies like LEGO, exercise, reading, creative projects, and learning Spanish. She is notoriously a little chaotic and can take a conversation in 17 directions without even noticing. Her ultimate goal is to keep turning the chaos into something that works well for her and to harness all her skills and talents to make Cultivate the best place to be a client or a clinician.

Jessy is passionate about accessibility, affordability, and quality of mental health services. She is the architect behind the pay-what-you-can operation launched in 2019 that has now overseen more than 5 million dollars in services given away to Albertans. She welcomes feedback - good, bad, and ugly - and is the go-to person to share you experience at Cultivate with. Reach out to Jessy any time you'd like to talk.
