Jenna Dalton

Registered Provisional Psychologist

Jenna (she/her) has over 20 years of experience in mental health and wellness and holds a BA Honours Degree in psychology and a Master of Arts with Distinction in Counselling Psychology. She specializes in neurodivergent relationships. She helps adults with ADHD, autism, and AuDHD better understand how their brain shows up in love and connection - and build relationships that actually work for their unique wiring. Many of her clients come to her after previous therapy that felt generic or didn't quite work the way they’d hoped. They're looking for someone who understands how neurodivergent brains experience conflict, communication, and intimacy differently.

She believes your brain isn't broken; it has superpowers and challenges, and both deserve support. Her approach is strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming, which means she’ll never try to make you neurotypical. Instead, she’ll help you find strategies and tools designed for how your brain is naturally wired. She works with individuals and partners in all relationship structures (including monogamous and non-monogamous), and her practice is sex-positive, kink-affirming, and LGBTQIA2S+ welcoming.

Common issues she helps with include ADHD and autism in romantic relationships, communication across neurotype differences, conflict shutdown and repair, hyperfocus-to-withdrawal relationship cycles, masking exhaustion and intimacy, rejection sensitivity (RSD) and pathological demand avoidance (PDA) in relationships, executive function challenges, attachment patterns in neurodivergent adults, anxiety, self-worth, and self-compassion.

She draws from attachment theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and somatic therapy - all adapted for neurodivergent brains.

Jenna is 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming and is located on Treaty 7 territory in Mohkinstsis (Calgary). She is currently accepting new clients across Treaties 6, 7, and 8 boundaries known as Alberta.
